Platinum indeed Sep 09, 2010 Like many, I'm wary when albums are rereleased. Usually, they'll just add a few remixes, ask for more money, and call it a day. Taylor Swift apparently knows better.
I fell in love with her version of "Untouchable" a while back and was thrilled to find it as the second track. "Jump Then Fall" is simple, catchy, and fun, while "Superstar" and "Other Side of the Door" are age-appropriate and lets me pretend I'm about ten years younger. If only it would nix the gray hairs, too...
The original album was quite solid, with only one song that I tend to skip: "The Best Day." It's sweet, but far too saccharine for my taste. I'm partial to "Hey Stephen" and "Fearless" as easy listens, while "The Way I Loved You" shows a surprising amount of self-awareness as a girl who's learning what it means to settle...or how sometimes you really just can't figure out what you want.
This is a great crossover album, and if the samples and radio play suit you, then it's probably a smart purchase. I'll agree with many other reviewers that Taylor's voice itself is mediocre, but she doesn't try to out-sing her range, and her songwriting skills make up for limited vocals and occasional pitchiness.
Well worth the extra $$$ Sep 01, 2010 I purchased the original Fearless album when it was first released,so I had already heard the songs on the CD.Once the Platinum Edition was released,I purchased it and it came with extra songs and DVD content. It was well worth the money to purchase this album again especially if you are a die-hard fan of Taylor Swift as I am!
Just as promised Aug 28, 2010 I was so amazed to see how quickly I received this CD. Great Shipping and wonderful seller.

solid catch songs, but is it really Country music? Aug 27, 2010 That is the question that many hard core Country music purists often pose.
Taylor Swift is a beautiful girl, and her #1 song "You belong to me" not only was one of the best songs in Country Music and garnered her several top Country Music nominations, but it also crossed over into pop music and landed #1 on the Billboard Top 100 Adult Contemporary songs.
Swift even won Best Music Video at the 2009 MTV Music Video Awards, or better known as the "Kanye West Incident".
Her CD was one of the top selling albums in the country in 2009 and included 3 of her biggest songs, Fearless, Love Story (which she did live on the finale of Dancing With the Stars) and "You belong to Me".
But here's the problem, and many country music fans might agree...is she really country music?
Her music is more Pop than Country, and while it has done good for the music industry in general, to true and hard core country music fans, it's not country music, and i've got to agree. Don't get me wrong, i'm not hating on Taylor Swift, but her music isn't country music.
Reba, The Judds, Carrie Underwood, that's country music. The simple fact that her song and video was nominated for an MTV music video award ought to tell you everything about Taylor's music.
Overall, she's a good singer and songwriter, but it's not country music.
Fearless/Taylor Swift Aug 22, 2010 This young lady is phenominal and will be around for a long time. This Platinum Edition is a great buy with all the extras and songs that people will be singing and watching for years to come. You go girl !
