Orange Glow Aug 20, 2008
By AsianGlow My friend broke the neighbors hoop so we decided to buy a new one.
After looking online this one seemed the best for the price. Even though we ordered this rim, a Spalding one came. I trust Spalding more than Huffy in anything dealing with sports, but I am guessing they are both using the same model.
When it came it was sturdy, nicely/brightly colored, and came with everything but the backboard:
-Rim
-Net
-Nuts&Bolts

Fit and works Great Sep 20, 2011
By 69cuda Rim Fit our old Huffy Backboard and was a great upgrade from the old rim that had plastic clips to hold the net. Well made and easy to install.

i purchased this based on what my son picked out for a replacement rim for his portable basketball pole. the old rim broke and this new one is much better than even the one that came with the pole. it works great. we have had it for a year now. wonderful replacemnt!! just what we needed, it came with the hardware and net.

Solid replacement rim, but don't be decieved by pictures Sep 02, 2011
By Dale J. Adamson I needed a new rim and this was one of the cheapest ones I could find. It looks nice and works well as a simple rim, but don't be decieved by the pictures into thinking this is a flex rim. I have found virtually no give in this rim, so if you want something like that, this is not for you.
Personally, I didn't need a rim with give, so I am thrilled with this product.
Price was right and the quality high!

Huffy 7800 Basketball Rim Jul 06, 2010
By D. Tu Needed to replace a broken rim and found this one at Amazon. Overall, installation was easy ... if you just want a "rigid" rim. The hardware (spring and mounting screws) that came along to make it "flexible" didn't work at all because the mounting screw was way too short. But since I can't dunk the ball, this feature wasn't important to me.
For the price I paid and what I needed it for, this rim served the purpose.
