Excellent Collection of Basketball Videos! Apr 28, 2007
By M. Nose I remember owning the first Superstars video on VHS. Of all the basketball videos I owned (which was a lot), I watched this one the most. Now you can own all three Superstars videos on one DVD! It doesn't get much better than that. The first Superstars is still the best. It has the best music and awesome highlights. It also has some extra footage not seen in the original VHS, which is really cool. You see footage from dunk contests and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar gets his own video this time around. The second one is still pretty good, but doesn't have the same magic that the first one had. The third one is the weakest. There is more emphasis on the DJs and the artists than the actual players being featured. It is also mostly rap music, which is not my favorite. Still there are some great highlights in this video as well. Shawn Kemp gets the best treatment in this video. All in all, an excellent buy considering the price.

Good collection of videos Apr 08, 2008
By Georgios Karakatsanis This is a good collection of videos of NBA Superstars. Espescially the first two thirdsthat feature true superstars. The third part is a collection of players that either didn' t quite make ti to superstar status or are featured in the beginning of their careers. Basically it is filmed during a period when the NBA was recovering from Bird and Magic' s retirement and was looking for the next big thing to compete with Michael Jordan. Still a good purchase though, and at a very reasonable price

Very entertaining. Good price. Lot's of memories. Jun 19, 2009
By SB Power Remember Barkley, Dominique, Hakeem. Remember the big shots in the playoff. Like music that sounds good from the 90's with some nonstop hot highlights from your favorite players. Want a lot of that all on one disk, which is really 3 disks worth. Want a lot of entertainment for your buck. Want Bird and Magic and Shawn Kemp to set it off and make it fire fire fire. Then stop reading this and buy the dvd. It's that damn good. ^^^

I remember owning these on VHS as well, and in all honesty am a little disappointed at the video quality of these DVDs. I was hoping for at least a little bit better quality, hence the reason I re-purchased these on DVD. The picture quality is on par with my VHS which is a little disappointing. Otherwise, 3 VHS titles on 1 DVD is a good deal. I would've liked to share this with the new generation of NBA fans with a better video quality than my VHS tapes. Good DVD, but could've been executed much better considering the legends contained inside video.
